Terms of service

1. General

These terms govern use of Stats.is provided by Novamedia ehf. Creating an account means you accept these terms.

2. The service

Stats is web analytics that collects non-identifying traffic data and presents it in a dashboard with AI insights.

3. Subscription and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually by invoice and bank transfer. Provide a VAT or tax ID for the invoice. Prices are shown on stats.is and may change with notice.

Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is added under Icelandic law.

4. Trial

New users receive a 30-day free trial. When it ends the account moves to the free plan (5,000 pageviews / month, 1 domain) unless a paid subscription is chosen.

5. Usage limits

Each plan includes a pageview limit. If usage exceeds the limit, tracking may pause until you upgrade.

6. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits arising from use or unavailability of the service.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless otherwise agreed.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Venue is Reykjavík, Iceland.
